# Suzana Loshkovska
Suzana Loshkovska received the bachelor and master degrees in computer science and automation from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Skopje, in 1988 and 1992, respectively, and the Ph.D. from the Technical University of Wien, Wien, Austria in 1995.
She worked at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, from February 1992 to March 1993. She was a visiting researcher at the Department of System Engineering and Automation, Academy of Sciences of Lower Austria in Krems, from March 1993 to October 1994. During this period, Loshkovska worked on the design and development of the medical information system for Krems Hospital. Since 1994 she is back to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. She became a professor in 2007. Since August 2011, she has been a professor at the Department of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science Engineering, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, R. of Macedonia. Her research interests include programming, visualization, human-computer interaction, virtual reality, medical imaging, and technologically enhanced learning.
Mrs. Loshkovska has over 25 years of experience in teaching, supervising and guidance of undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of programming, medical informatics, content-based image retrieval, visualization and human-computer interaction. Also, she has over 10 years of experience in developing and ensuring quality assurance of study programs for higher education institutions. During her work, Mrs. Loshkovska was a mentor on several master and doctoral thesis related to her research interests.
She is an author/ a co-author of about a hundred scientific papers in the field of computer science, She speaks English fluently and uses German.
