# Ivica Dimitrovski
Ivica was born in 1981 in Kratovo, Macedonia. In 2000, he started his studies with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Saints Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje. He received the bachelor’s degree in computer science, automation and electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in 2005. In 2008, he received the M.Sc. degree and the Ph.D. degree in 2011.
In 2009, he was an Assistant with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Skopje. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia, from 2009 to 2010. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Saints Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, Macedonia and Head of the department for Software Engineering. His fields of interest include image processing and video processing, content-based multimedia data retrieval, machine learning and software engineering.
